1/2 Beef Share

Thank you for your interest in purchasing a quarter beef from Spear R Ranch! To reserve your 1/2 beef, we require a $800 deposit. The remaining balance will be due once your beef has been processed and must be paid before pick-up.

Wondering what comes in a 1/2 beef share? You can expect to receive roughly 160 to 170 pounds of high-quality, butcher-wrapped meat for your freezer. Here’s an example of the cuts and approximate quantities you can expect:

• Ribeye Steaks: ~8 to 12 (¾–1″ thick)
   
• T-Bone or Porterhouse Steaks: ~6 to 8
   
• Sirloin Steaks: ~8 to 12
   
• Filet Mignon (Tenderloin Steaks): ~4 to 8
   
• Flank Steak: 2
   
• Skirt Steak: 2
   

• Chuck Roasts: ~6 to 8 (~2.5–3 lb each)
   
• Arm Roasts: ~4 (~2–3 lb each)
   
• Rump Roasts: ~2 to 3 (~2–3 lb each)
   
• Sirloin Tip Roast: ~2 (~2–3 lb)
   

• Ground Beef : ~80–100 lb total, typically in 1 lb packages
   

• Short Ribs: ~4–6 packages
   
• Stew Meat: ~10–14 lb
   
• Brisket: ~1 whole brisket (~6–10 lb)

For a 1/2 beef share, you’ll need approximately 8 to 10 cubic feet of freezer space. This ensures there’s enough room for your steaks, roasts, ground beef, and other cuts to stay organized and frozen properly.
