Thank you for your interest in purchasing a whole beef share from Spear R Ranch! To reserve your whole beef, we require a $1200 deposit. The remaining balance will be due once your beef has been processed and must be paid before pick-up.

Wondering what comes in a whole beef share? You can expect to receive roughly 460 to 540 pounds of high-quality, butcher-wrapped meat for your freezer. Here’s an example of the cuts and approximate quantities you can expect:

• Ribeye Steaks: ~16 to 24 (¾–1″ thick)
   
• T-Bone or Porterhouse Steaks: ~12 to 16
   
• Sirloin Steaks: ~16 to 24
   
• Filet Mignon (Tenderloin Steaks): ~8 to 16
   
• Flank Steak: 4
   
• Skirt Steak: 4
   

• Chuck Roasts: ~12 to 16 (~2.5–3 lb each)
   
• Arm Roasts: ~8 (~2–3 lb each)
   
• Rump Roasts: ~4 to 8 (~2–3 lb each)
   
• Sirloin Tip Roast: ~4 (~2–3 lb)
   

• Ground Beef : ~160–200 lb total, typically in 1 lb packages
   

• Short Ribs: ~8–12 packages

For a whole beef share, you’ll need approximately 16 to 20 cubic feet of freezer space. This ensures there’s enough room for your steaks, roasts, ground beef, and other cuts to stay organized and frozen properly.
